"Mirj, must tell you that this has become my go to recipe every Friday. I have made it using brown sugar and I've tried using honey though I do use less sweet than called for in the recipe. I do have to add quite a bit more flour after the cycle is done to make the dough workable. My trick for a beautiful brown challah is to bake for 10 minutes at..."

"Made this kugel as directed but added 1/2 an onion because I didn't think it would have enough flavor. The taste was good but it was still very soft on the inside even though the outside was crispy and brown."

"This sounded so good. But I wanted an entire meal that I could make in one pan. I followed the recipe but added thin slices of granny smith apples and chicken thighs. Covered it the entire cooking period and it was heavenly."

"I followed the directions as listed and it was a hit. It will have a permanent place in my recipe collection. I put the mixture in an 8x8 because I didn't have a pie tin and it was almost like a kugel. I will double the recipe next time."

"So, I can never follow a recipe exactly because we keep a Kosher kitchen and can't mix meat with cheese. But I did basically follow as indicated. I used ground turkey, browned it with the onion, garlic, basil and spices. It was very good. I did hollow out the eggplant almost to the skin, it was tender and delicious. Served it with penne pasta ..."

"Great recipe. I made it without any meat and left out the broth. Used Sake instead. The sesame oil is essential for a full flavor. Also added the eggs during cooking, we like the smaller pieces. Used zucchini, carrots, mushrooms and lots of green onion and garlic. Served it with egg drop soup and had more than enough for a complete meal. Very..."
