"I can finally stop looking! I've been looking for a beefy, low- acidity chili with good flavor and a small amount of punch. Used to make the copy-cat Wendy's chili but it's too acidic. This was Perfect. I cut this in 1/2 and it still made 9-10 decent bowls. I used chili beans because we prefer those and used Tomato Sauce since I didn't have Puree..."

"Wow. And Wow. Can't get over how great this was. I used ground italian sausage (Johnsonville--I'd use freshly made next time from the meat dept). The bacon is definitely a must. About Me

We have 2 little boys that keep us very busy. Many recipes I save are fast and easy:) I love to cook though, so I'm always looking for new recipes, including recipes that take time. LOVE this website! I love to cook, read, write and spend time with my family. We love the outdoors, including the winter when we get tons of snow. We're also owners of a coffee/icecream/gift/deli shoppe. We live in a tourist town surrounded by many lakes. Taste Of Home magazine is a favorite of mine and now recipezaar is a favorite too.

    Favorite Foods

I love spaghetti & meatballs, lasagna, chinese food, any kind of comfort food, BBQ chicken on the grill, watermelon in the summer, fresh zucchini on the grill. I'm famous for my lasagna, spaghetti & meatballs and seafood gumbo.
My favorite restaurant would have to be Peking and a cute local restaurant called The Guide's Inn.
