    About Me

    I live in Auburn, CA along the American river canyon. I'm married with a son & a daughter. I am a domestic engineer (maid, taxi, cook, nurse, planner, money spender-ha!, etc, etc) I'm pretty much into being fit & healthy, even though my two passions are food & music. So I try to cook healthy, but love the occassional meal Paula Deen style-a stick of butter in everything! I love to combine food & music. For instance, making a gourmet Mexican meal and pairing that with music that goes with the region and drinks to match that. I get a lot of satisfaction out of creating dishes, not just making dinner. My kids are tired of being guinea pigs with food. They want meatloaf Monday, pork chop Tuesday, etc, but our meals are always new and different. That's just how I've always been. They never know what they're gonna get. I also love to eat out at restaurants and get ideas for my own dishes.

    Pretty much everything as long as it's not overcooked and has the perfect blend of flavor, not too bland, not too hot and not too salty & overspiced. I like my meat to taste like meat & my broccoli to taste like broccoli.
