    New Topic Cooking ahead of time in Cooking Q & A

    "Hello all,
    I am cooking for Thanksgiving dinner and am trying to get as much done ahead of time as possible. I was wondering if a recipe says "can be prepared 1 day in advance", is it okay to prepare it 2 days in advance? Does anyone know the rules/guidelines for preparing food ahead of time, and how much time you can leave food in a refrig..."
