I'm a vegetarian who makes one heck of a souvlaki - how's that for a contradiction? I love cooking, and am a huge fan of Moosewood and Molly Katzen (although that has nothing to do with my choosing the name Katzen as my moniker!) I do own all of Mollie Katzen's cookbooks, and all of the Mooosewood Collective's as well - I'm a bit of a cookbook collector, with an entire bookcase dedicated to my cookbooks. Aside from cooking, I also love scuba diving, cycling, and reading.

Garlic, soups, pasta, fresh salsa, my voodoo bruschetta, italian, greek, and mexican flavours. My minestrone is quite popular... I developed it from the recipe on the back of a kidney bean can, and it's evolved many times. I swear by making your own stocks, as you can't beat the flavour! My husband takes soup and treats into his work weekly, and they love it - and can't believe I cook from scratch. I'm also developing a reputation for baking as well, and bake cookies, bars, and such for community groups around four times a week. This has earned me the nickname, "Cookie."
