    My Journal

I have no recent activity to share.

    About Me

I live in South Auckland, New Zealand. I live with my mum and nan, both great cooks. Currently between study and employment. Lately I've been doing a lot of cooking out of a couple of weight watchers cookbooks, trying to lose a few kilos.
I have a few passions in my life: good food, good music and good friends.
Pet peeves: sports commentators who don't know what they're talking about. Phil Simms, I'm looking at you.

    Favorite Foods

When I cook, I generally like to make things up. They usually taste nice =]
My nan cooks a delicious lasagne, that I absolutely love, and try to only have occasionally so I don't over do it =]
But I like the staples of the kiwi diet, baked beans on toast, a barbie (bbq), mashed potatoes, fish and chips =] Foods of most kinds.
Most recently, I have been famous for my Chili. Everytime my mates come around to watch a game of NFL, I always cook up a pot of chili. For the Superbowl XL, I smoked my first Boston Butt. It turned out great, they all ate it up before the end of the 1st quarter. After half time, we had the chili.
