07-05-2010 ~ Herb loving squirrel that daily sits in my thyme, digs in my mint, and within one week ATE ALL my cilantro ~ and licked the pot rim!

I'm a mother to three grown successful children, and GramLolly to six beautiful grandchildren ~

I love to antique and have an appreciation of old things, especially items passed down to me from family: a Singer treadle sewing machine, oak crank wall phone, mantle clocks, flat irons, butter molds, churns and crocks, and iron cornstick pans from a grandmother, an ice cream scoop and parfait glasses from an aunt ~ my mother's Moss Rose china. 

I have many collections: hand held food choppers, wrought iron farm implements ~ i.e, rotary hoes, rakes and gears ~ twist handle butter knives, odd thistle patterned silver serving pieces, aprons, cookbooks, small wall mirrors, and old framed floral crewel or needlepoint cottage or barn pieces.

Below are my latest eBay needlework rescues ~ eventually they will end up on a wall!

Four tea trays, various teas, raw sugar, honey, Ovaltine, and cash for mugs to coordinate with the tea trays sent to my partner Psalm-AKA-Typo Qween in the Coffee/Tea Swap 2011.

Wildmomma (Chef #1588050) was my swap partner in the Cookie Swap 2011 ~ In addition to the cookies pictured, I sent a tree cookie cutter, and a bell cookie cutter for Christmas, and a double-heart cookie cutter for Valentine's Day; a small set of cookbooks for the cookbook collector; and two coloring books, and a pad of stickers for the children!  (It is more blessed to give than to receive. ~ Acts 20:35)
