    About Me

I live in southern California, have been married for 16+ years and have a beautiful 11 year old daughter. I am a programmer/analyst by trade but was recently laid off due to my job being outsourced offshore. My husband and I decided I would take the summer off from working so I could stay home with my daughter. If things work out for us, financially, I will stay home permanently.

My husband has always been the cook in our family so I am new to cooking and this site has been a wonderful help. I've learned that cooking can be fun, creative and relaxing and not just the "chore" that my mom made it appear to be.

    Favorite Foods

My husband is an excellent griller, so my fav food is probably any kind of fish that he grills - especially swordfish and salmon. He also cooks a mean breakfast :-)

My fav restaurant is one that serves breakfast 24 hours a day. I am a breakfast junkie!
