I was born, raised and reside in the midwest. I've been in the restaurant business for 30 years. For fun I just love to hang with my wife who is also my very best friend. My all time favorite cook book is the internet. What a resource. My passion is perfect food. Love to wow them. If I have a pet peeve it would be when people say "to tell the truth" when starting a conversation. Are they implying that they don't always tell you the truth? That month off thing, hmmm! Fish, hunt & look for that perfect recipe on the net.
My favorite food to eat is spaghetti. It used to be my favorite dish to prepare until my wife out did me. She deserves a big pat on the back. My famous dish would be the chili pie recipe that I have posted on this site. It truely is the first appetizer to disappear at any event. I got the recipe from my sister who never makes it and doesn't remember giving it to me. My favorite all time restaurant is a little hole in the wall place named Luigi's. Seats about 25 people and is always on an hour wait to get in. The power of good food.
