Reviewed Pork Chops With Sour Cream Sauce

     |  By Alan Leonetti

"I'm never really sure what to do with pork chops, but I'm glad I used this recipe. I made a few slight changes: I did not have sage so I used oregano and added garlic and red pepper flakes. I only had two chops but kept the sauce ingredients the same and I'm glad I did, everything was deliciously saucy. I served this over egg noodles and next t..."

"I made this for dinner tonight and really enjoyed it. One of its strengths is that you can alter it to your personal taste very easily. I used penne instead of macaroni and a bit more than called for. I also used extra onion and pepper, subbed red pepper for the green, and added some chopped celery, fresh tomatoes, and garlic. At the end, I..."

"Awesome recipe! Easy to make, although I wish I'd stop being lazy and broke out the processor for the chopping. So easy once all the prep is done and very, very tasty. Thanks for sharing!"

"This was a really great recipe. I made a few minor changes: I didn't have turnips or carrots, so I subbed zucchini and and extra onions instead. I also didn't use the four cups of water and instead used chicken broth for it all. This tasted amazing and smelled great while cooking. Very easy, too! Thanks for sharing."

"What a great recipe! I was intrigued by the ingredient list. Despite what it looks like, this was so easy to put together. I didn't have ground beef so I used ground turkey instead and just upped the ingredients a bit. The dressing especially was really great, I brought what was left over to put on a normal sandwich. Delicious!"

"What a great recipe! The prepwork is so simple and didn't take me much time at all using a mini food processor. I wasn't able to marinate the drumsticks for the whole time -- I only had about 45 mins., and the flavors were still great, so I can only imagine if you had a full day! I used five drumsticks, so there was a decent amount of extra sau..."

"I doubt these muffins need another review, but they were spectacular! I subbed half the flour with whole wheat and used a whole package of chocolate chips, omitting the nuts because I don't like them. The consistency was great, they are not as sweet as cookies which is nice since they're muffins... my roommates and I loved these. Thanks for suc..."

"Loved this recipe! Aside from leaving out the parmesan cheese, which I am not a fan of, I followed this recipe exactly and loved it. I had some extra meat mixture and shells from the package, so I stuffed the extras and froze them, so I can just add sauce and bake for a quick dinner in the future. Thanks for a delicoius, ricotta-free dinner!"

"I can't believe I haven't reviewed this yet! This is my favorite go-to shrimp recipe. It's easy to make and tastes great. I've even made the sauce for chicken breasts and grilled them and it was still delicious. I like serving this with dirty rice for a nice meal. Thanks so much for this recipe!"
