    My passon and interest in cooking frequently outweighs my ability to follow a recipe, but I keep plugging along. (Much to my children's chagrin) hehe
    I'm not that bad, but I want to get much better and have fun while I do it. Wish me luck!

    Favorite Foods

    I keep trying things I don't like to see if I can acquire a "taste" for them. So far it's only cooked or dried fruit that I just have no interest in.
    I love interesting, colourful food, and food that I can get my little ones to eat.
    Moving to New Zealand opened up a HUGE culinary treasure trove for me as us North Americans are fairly limited in use of spices and different combinations.
    So many cultures, so many recipes!!!
