    About Me

My name is Liz & I am married to a loving husband & have 3 beautiful children.  I have been a insurance billing director for 7 years for my husband's doctor's office.  When I am not at the office, I am at home with the family, constantly in the kitchen with my laptop on my kitchen counter, trying new recipes and tweaking them to my family's liking.

My passion is definitely God & my family and then cooking.  When I have free time, I enjoy great books, listening to a wide variety of music, or just closing my eyes & either enjoying the giggles of my children or the complete silence around me (whenever I can get it!)

My inspiration to cook comes from my mom.  She met my dad (who was a decorated Master Sargent in the US Army) during the Vietnam war and when her & my dad came back to the states, after a few years, my mom started her Vietnamese restaurant.  I learned so much about cooking from her as well as in high school taking home ec classes it has started the love of cooking.

Years later, and many life changing things, the constant in my life (besides God & my husband and kids) is cooking.  It's my safe haven- Life is Good in the kitchen!

    Favorite Foods

My favorite dish is Pho (I am half vietnamese)
I am famous for my Garlic Chicken, Chicken Fried Rice, Homemade Spaghetti Sauce & Tacos & Marinated Flank Steak.
My favorite restaurant is a great steak place & any place that serves great food at a reasonable price. Whenever we travel, we always try a restaurant that is not the norm in the US & I would pick a hole in the wall then a name brand place.
