"I chose this recipe as I do not like stewed vegetables. For a serving of 4, I added 3/4 tsp of thyme to the vegetables (added yams. I was a little heavy handed on the fresh pepper. My roast was 2.5lbs which I browned & required 3hrs to be tender. For the gravy I removed the fat & pureed. Then placed the sliced roast back into the gravy to keep wa..."

"This dish was enjoyed by all! I made by own potato (parboiled crust & baked for 15mins. prior to adding the other ingredients. Used a deep dish pie plate with no problem. Ingredients: proscutto ham, a milder jalapeno cheese & white pepper to hide the fact. Total cooking time 1hr. No one found this dish to be too spicy. I liked the fact it was any..."

"I have tried many recipes using flour. They have never been the one I looked for from my childhood. This was perfect. I only had sirloin veal on hand. Next time I will also have a lean pork also. Chicken breast would be a nice addition. I would not change a thing & I did think about adding some spice? Served with baked potatoes, mushrooms & salad...."

"I prepared this as written cooking the chicken earlier then grilling later for dinner. I prepared 20lbs of breasts & thighs for a weekend Zaars get together. Since I was serving other main items. I planned on using the leftovers the next day for chicken salad sandwiches. There was not a piece of chicken left but many compliments to Claudia."

"I used this on hot roast beef sandwiches last night & everyone mentioned how much they enjoyed this addition. I have made some more this morning to take to the cottage for a Z get together. I will use it on hamburgers this time. I like this over the other recipes I have looked at as it contains no oil. Thanks Jynxxycat for posting this recipe."

"I agree, AMAZING & FABULOUS!!!!! I kept going back for just one more. Corn tortillas are very hard to find here. I had to use 4" organic frozen tortillas. I followed the recipes as written & would not change a thing. I over fried some of my tortillas & will fry for only 30 seconds a side in the future. They do not roll well when over fried. I am n..."

"Now I have eaten "a lot" of Cottage Pies & Sheperd's Pies. It is one of my favorite dishes to have in the frig. I will often make one for the week & eat it all by myself with a salad & hot peppers on the side. I used lean ground beef (adding fresh garlic which I browned. Fresh thyme was used plus carrots & frozen sweet peas (added at the end. Fo..."

"I used 2lb's of russet (4 potatoes for 3 people. Cutting back the ingredients for 1 7/8 lbs peeled. The first time I had chives from the garden available. This time I used green onion but used fresh thyme in both. No whole milk so I used a mix of 1% & half & half. Great recipe & I plan on serving it often. Thanks Epi !"
