Based in Northland just a few kilometers from Whangarei, NZ. My favourite recipe book is by a two NZer's, Alison and Simon Holst Meals without Meat. This book is my all time stand by for healthy inexpensive meals. I wouldn't be without it. I love cooking and look forward to preparing meals each evening.

I make my own museli in a crock-pot and have been doing so for over 10 years. The recipe is one I found in Joan Bishop's The New Zealand Crock-pot Cookbook. The recipe has evolved over the years to incorporate a wide selection of nuts, grains, seeds and dried fruit. My current favourite includes dried cherries (not glaze cherries). This is the recipe I am most known for as it would be the only one I regularly make.
My other favourite recipes include Spinach & Feta Pie, Lentils and Spinach Stew and Blackberry Pie topped with Meringue.
