"I loved the idea of this recipe. I ended up using 3 large tomatoes that I chopped into large chunks. Next time I would drain some of their juice out since it ended up pretty watery. I also used fresh, minced garlic instead of garlic powder and then I used homemade balsalmic dressing since I don't buy store bought dressing. I then just spr..."

"I have made this a few times and it always turns out great. I like that you can add various veggies based on what you have on hand and it still turns out yummy. I usually add 1 tsp. salt and extra garlic."

"I found a similar recipe to this in a Taste of Home cookbook. I've been making it for years, but mine called for vanilla instead of maple flavoring. I'm anxious to try the maple! Mine also called for more eggs - 3 eggs, but I'm sure it could use less. I always used less sugar than it called for as well - 1/2 cup instead of 1 cup. And on the t..."

"Yes! I have been looking for this recipe - it came from the Quaker cornmeal container. It really is yummy. I usually sub 2 T. honey for the 1/4 c. of sugar and use freshly milled corn and whole wheat flour. If you want it to be dairy free (we have a DD with allergies, you can use rice milk 1 to 1 in place of the milk."

"I too had found this in a TOH Quick Cooking magazine from July/August 2001 and have been making it ever since. I love that it's so quick and easy. I think I have also added various beans (chili, kidney, black... to the recipe while cutting back on the beef. You can also top it with sour cream or greek yogurt. Thanks for posting this! Yummy!"

"I too found this in the TOH Quick Cooking magazine from May/June 2002. I have been making it ever since. We love it. Sometimes I add a little ground beef at the beginning too. If you don't have feta, it's great with parmesan as well. I was getting ready to post this one for my safe keeping and was glad to see you had already done it. The onl..."

"I also had found this in a Weber grill leaflet from 1998. I used this marinade quite a few times and really liked it. I, too had wanted to put it online for safekeeping, so I was glad to see that you had already entered it! Thank you! The recipe said it made 2 cups."

"I made this last night and it was so good! I made one change since my DD is allergic to dairy. Instead of using butter, I used sesame oil and that really makes it yummy. I served it with Dan's Asian Rice (found on food.com and on a bed of cooked spinach. Cooked the spinach in sesame oil also with garlic and soy sauce. My kids gobbled it up! ..."

"I had found this on JustHungry as well and was going to put it on here and found that it is already here! Yay! I just made this tonight and it was my first time to cook kabocha squash. My 4 year old DD was a little hesitant about the "green stuff" (peeling, but once she got over that she ate it fine. My hubby and 7 year old son really enjoyed..."
