"Excellent - we like it on green beans and on broccoli for a change of pace"

"I intend to find all the ingredients to make this exactly as written to use as a dip in the future. I made many alterations to make it a soupier sauce for some stir-fried pork and veggies but stuck with the seasonings and substitutions to approximate seasonings I did not have on hand and it was still fantastic! Thanks for sharing Carol!"

"We've made these twice now and the clan unanimously agrees that this is our new "family brownie recipe". Wonderful, fudgy flavor and texture. Even the 17 year old son was able to achieve excellent results following the recipe."

"We've made this twice now and it is truly excellent. We use kielbasa and cubed chicken breasts. I also add a couple of dashes of liquid smoke to each batch. The teens in the home absolutely love it. The whole is much greater than the sum of it's parts."

"According to the family, borderline fish eaters, and the head cook and bottle washer who is a confirmed fish hater, this was the best d@mned fish we ever had. Looks like Salmon Patties are going into "cook often" file. Was really easy too. I took a chance and used baking powder, as listed in the ingredients. The instructions said "soda" so I wasn'..."

"Made this to go with Greco Chicken and Pasta tonight. I set the breadmaker for "dough" and shaped it into a traditional french bread shape. Let it rise for 30 minutes then baked at 400F for 25 minutes with a dish of water on the bottom rack to mimic a stone oven. The kid loved it. Nice and crusty with good flavor."

"Made this as a quickie when my son showed up with his girlfriend. I used 1 1/2 cups of toddler banana babyfood, which is the quick equivalent of mashed banana. I added walnuts. Baked and served in an 8x8 glass square pan. Blended together 8 oz. cream cheese with 1/2 cup of sugar for a quick frosting. Got rave reviews fresh from the oven. It was ev..."

"Excellent, excellent, excellent! I have tried many German potato salad recipes in the past 15 years but none came close to the delectable dish I had during Christmases as a child. All were way too sweet or way too vinegar-y and none were smokey enough. It's all about balance! This struck the chord of balance. The potato flavor was accented instead..."

"Made this Thanksgiving day. Kids and adults all loved it. Just a tip... if you are going to double it (like I did make two different batches. Easier that way in the long run and fewer chex get crushed in the mixing."
