    Reviewed Ciabatta (Italian Slipper Bread)

"Lisa, This is the best--I can't tell you how impressed people are when I serve this--it is delish, simple, and just down right tasty--I like to also split it length wise and put roast beef, cheese of choice green chili's and tomatoes, place top back on and either wrap in foil and bake till heated thru or grill on top of my stove with a heavy weight..."

    About Me

I live in a small town about 45 minutes from Sacramento, Calif and just a little over an hour to Reno, Nevada where I love to take a day trip and hit the thrift shops, gamble just a tad, have a great lunch then back home again. I owned a small beer and wine here in town for 12 years then retired. Was very bored so searched the internet looking for something to do--My question was "What do I love that I could get paid for?"--COOKING kept popping up in my mind--I stumbled across some Personal Chefs sites(something I was unaware of) and Tadaaa "Christy's Culinary Creations" was born. I've been doing this since early 2000. We have an empty nest--but my son lives just a few miles away--and with all the neighbors stopping by things are never really dull--plus they know I'm going to whip something up for them----

    Favorite Foods

I love food from just about every region and have found some wonderful recipes to keep me occupied right here at Zaar. I encouraged family and friends to have cook dates so I can expand my cooking--I could write a book on what my husband doesn't like so it's difficult to change up recipes for this meat and potato man--although he does love spicy so that gives me a little room--But God forbid don't be throwin in anything that might resemble a vegetable cuz well that could just ruin everything for him:) Our home is the local hang out since the Bar closed down so I still get to test recipes on friends which makes me Happy! All those bachelors I kept fed for so many years missed the food way more than the beer when we shut down:) Now you know way more than you every needed to know----Looking forward to my journey through Zaar and meeting some of you--just never know where your next best friend might come from.
