"Seeing so many positive reviews, I expected this to be a hit. Unfortunately, my family hated this. My stepdaughter gave it "negative 12 stars" on a scale of 1 to 5. The chicken tasted far too strongly of cinnamon, strange combination of seasonings and had a bad aftertaste. I will not be making this again."

"Yes, yes...I know..like you really need another review. This was fantastic. I made it using "Apothic Red" wine for a dinner party with friends. No, I won't claim to never need jarred sauce again, as this is time consuming..but if you have the time, this is SO worth it. I added chopped fresh mushrooms. Delicious. Only down side: I should have..."

"Thanks Kittencal!! You helped save my "Mother's Day". I invited my Mom and stepdad over for lunch but was in an unfamiliar kitchen with limited tools due to being displaced by a house fire. This recipe was easy to assemble, and was popular with even the "veggie haters". I added diced, sauteed tomatoes, used brown rice cooked with chicken stock,..."

"I hate being the only genuinely negative review for this recipe, but when I made this as written, it was TERRIBLY tart. I needed a sangria recipe to make for a large wine tasting event, and my first test batch was made exactly to the recipe..I had to add a ton of sugar to make it drinkable. For the wine tasting, I cut back on lemon and lime juic..."

"Made the recipe almost exactly as written. This was pretty good but not great. The meat layer had very little sauce after cooking for 1 hour, even after I added more tomato sauce than the recipe called for. The noodles would have been dry if I hadn't mixed the mushroom soup with the hot pasta. I think I would make this again, but may need more..."

"I am not sure how I missed ever reviewing this recipe..I have used it many times. This has turned out to be a big hit with kids sleepover parties, brunches and weekend family breakfasts. I normally make it by the recipe, except use egg substitute and fat free cheese. Today I made a change..I don't have any lemon pepper in the house right now, s..."

"I have made this recipe as written, until I found out it is unsafe. Making this recipe as written left me with rust rings on the bottom of my crock pot, and after doing more research, I would never feed the finished product to my family again. It is unsafe to make dulce de leche in the can. Heating the can for long periods of time releases chemic..."

"I read the reviews, I read the recipe, I thought this would be an excellent basic recipe that could be "jazzed up". Unfortunately, the actual results were really a disappointment. I used 2 cups sharp cheddar with a tablespoon Parmesean cheese, and added a little bit of red pepper, garlic powder, chives and some onion powder..and this still turne..."

"I REALLY wanted to like this recipe. I like ketchup on my eggs, and I enjoy poached eggs, but the flavor just didn't work for me. Even with the vinegar (I used apple cider vinegar it didn't cut the sweetness of ketchup. Also, perhaps my cooktop puts out more heat than the other recipe testers, because 3 minutes was actually too much for me. W..."
