"I make crock pot roast fairly often, and it's okay, even good. This was fabulous. Just awesome.
I used a chuck roast, stew vegetables (potatoes, carrots, pearl onions, and celery a full envelope of ranch dressing mix, an envelope of brown gravy mix that's been in the cupboard for who knows how long, about a 1/4 c. of Kraft Zesty Italian from ..."

"This was really good. I made it with pork loin though. I cut the pork loin in five 1 1/2 in slices. I used four bacon strips instead of two and used 2 c. beef broth rather than water. I added a teeny bit of garlic salt and some canned mushrooms. I served it with mashed potatoes. My husband says it's as good as a restaurant!"

"Easy -- no chunking the potatoes, no flipping them halfway through. I like the convenience of flat slices. I actually ended up using Montreal Steak seasoning and a little garlic salt instead of the Old Bay (because I didn't have any. Thanks!"

"Very easy, pretty good! I used premade pie crusts, and they seemed to be a little small, so I only ended up using 1.5 cans of soup. Instead of the seasoning salt, I just threw in 1/2 tsp of garlic salt. Thanks -- will make again."

"I made a major change: I don't like sweet pasta salad, so I used only 1 1/2 Tbsp. of sugar for a double batch of the dressing. I liked the tart taste. Very different. This was pretty good, and so easy!"

"Quite good, and very easy. I was able to make them with things I had in the house, with a little alteration. I didn't have wheat germ, so I left it out. I made a buttermilk substitute with nonfat powdered milk (mixed with water to make half a cup, plus 1/2 tsp vinegar. I also only had bread flour, but it worked fine. After mixing it together, the..."

"This was quite good! Very easy to make, and inexpensive as well. It's pretty low-fat, too, especially because I used low-fat ham.As suggested, I pureed some of the cooked beans and added it back to the soup -- good! I made one change -- I left out the sugar completely. I just don't like it.The only other thing I would change is to put more ham..."
