Shared Recipe Slice of Heaven Alfredo Bacon Potato Pizza

"Ready, Set, Cook! Special Edition Contest Entry: This pizza comes together very easy when unexpected company arrives or for a quick dinner with little effort however, it will taste as though you slaved! Knife and fork will be required as this is a hearty but delectable dish!! (To save time in preparation, a package cheese blend works very well.)"

"Excellent meatloaf with the addition of 2 Tbsp of Ketchup and 1 Tbsp of Worcestershire Sauce as others recommended. About Me

We live in Anthem Arizona which is just north of Phoenix. I, Genna was born and raised in Albuquerque, NM and Lance is from different parts of Arizona. We met over the phone through our employers. At the time we met, Lance was living in Durango, CO and worked for a company that sold the windows that the company I worked for, manufactured. We went on a blind date on September 23, 2000 and were married a year later on September 22, 2001. We had our second child together in July 2003. Which brings the children total to three as I a had an older daughter from a previous marriage. Our two little ones are exactly 12 mos, one week apart. Saying all that, I stay at home trying to keep my sense of humor along with my sanity while taking care of all the kids. In all seriousness we love each other, feel that we are soul mates and feel very blessed with how God has and continues to shape our lives.

    Favorite Foods

We love spicy foods! Especially growing up in New Mexico, I (Genna) am used to hot chile. In fact, if it doesn't make my nose run, then it wasn't hot enough! I have a hard time traveling and seeing things like "red sauce", "green sauce", or "enchilada sauce". In New Mexico there is no such thing! There is red chile or green chile...period. In late August/early September, the grocery stores sell 30lb bags of fresh green chiles and will roast them for you for free. It is our way of "stocking up" for the winter. I do all of the cooking in the kitchen and Lance does all of the barbecuing. I don't let Lance cook because he gets way out of control with the spice cabinet and the end result is pretty scary. I don't mind being the cook, I love cooking and trying out new recipes. I love making them our own by adding New Mexico flavor. I am definitely a recipezaar junkie!
