    About Me

I live in northern California about 2 miles from the Pacific Ocean in the middle of the redwoods. I am a single mom with one teenage boy left at home, wondering how I'll survive empty nest syndrome... Photography, art and music are my passions. I love nature! When it's sunny out, you'll find me on the beach collecting agates. On foggy days I like walking through the redwoods, and I always have my camera with me.

    Favorite Foods

It's easier to list the things I dislike: oysters and brussels sprouts. There's a few things I haven't tried, but I like most everything, and will give things a second and third try if everybody else says it's great but I don't think so. Like sushi.. I used to hate it, but it grew on me! I absolutely love vegetarian stir fry, but I'm an omnivore.

The oddest thing I've ever eaten was chocolate covered ants and grasshoppers. The grasshoppers tasted like a Nestle Crunch Bar. ha!

I like baking, and collecting recipes.
