"Very good muffins. I followed the recipe exactly using applesauce instead of oil. They wouldn't win a beauty contest- they rose up and the tops became flat like mushrooms- but they taste great! A very nice and easy recipe."

"Very Good! I upped the amount of spices (just the way I like it but kept to the recipe other than that. I also added some minced candied ginger, though it really wasn't necessary because it was good on its own."

"This bread was really tasty. I used some cashew butter that needed using up and added extra salt. My only complaint is that it's very crumbly bread but the taste is terrific!"

"These are tasty. I used freeze-dried strawberries that I reconstituted in water first. I'm not entirely sure if the amount of berries the recipes calls for are whole or chopped, but I only had about a cup of reconstituted chopped berries and it worked. As many did I used applesauce for oil. They rose well and turned out great."

"Okay, but not great. I was hoping that they would taste a bit more like chocolate and coffee but they came out sort of bland. They did rise beautifully though."

"Good muffins and very healthy! I made them with applesauce and they came out very well. My only two complaints are that they stuck to the muffin papers very badly and that they dried out very easily."
