    Reviewed Chicken Stew

"MizzNezz, you sure are an awesome chef! This is simple and healthy as well, thank you! I followed the lead of some of the reviewers and put fresh chopped tomatoes, the chicken broth I got the fat free sodium free (just to cut out the sodium)....but I have to admit that it needed a tad of salt, but I'll leave that to the individual at the table. ..."

Reviewed Fannie Farmer's Classic Baked Macaroni and Cheese

"Alas, here we have found the ultimate mac-n-cheese recipe. Thank you so much, Carla, I never made it well in the past, just 'so so'... There is truth in that you should not use 'cheap cheese' - if there is a cheap anything anymore! I was so happy with it, I bagged and froze the leftovers. Thank you again, and I agree - we do not need to be preac..."

Reviewed To Die for Crock Pot Roast

"I have made this recipe several times and it never ceases to amaze me for the ease and the quality results. I do cut back on half of the italian seasonings to cut salt, per many recommendations. This time I purchased the sale meat which was pretty cheap. I intended to wake up during the night to put it in so that it would be ready by lunchtime. ..."

    Reviewed Pork 'comfort' Leftover Roast

"Thanks Chef Susan, this was very good. I had leftover boneless pork country ribs from a cookout. I also added the pork chunks with the tomatoes to let them blend a bit and served over some yolk free egg noodles. Then I just threw them altogether for leftover leftovers! The picture looks kind of gross, it's not the most beautiful dish that I've ..."

    About Me

I'm a Florida girl. I moved from Pensacola Beach to Gainesville in 2000. I enjoy photography, artistic interior design (including a lot of construction work--tile & remodel jobs--and I do the work), traveling, animals, cooking, and shopping. I've been a military brat for a good bit of my life so I've been to a lot of different places, and find something to love about every place. I have had many different careers - from bartender to restaurant manager to car sales to personal assistant for a millionaire selling his businesses. Still trying to decide what I want to be when I grow up...or maybe that I never want to have to grow up! Actually, now I'm a Harley Davidson riding commercial property appraiser - and life is good!

    Favorite Foods

I enjoy anything that tastes good. I love seafood, vegetables, and anything that I can justify as somewhat healthy. But, I also have quite a sweet tooth. I love Chinese, sushi, but also down-home country food. Pensacola Beach is sometimes called L.A. -- Lower Alabama, so I learned about Southern food. I prepare sushi rolls when I know the fish is just caught, I guess I just like experimenting with everything. I'm happy to have found this site, I love trying new things.
