    About Me

    Lynn at Rose Garden

    *I love living in Oregon. I was born here but in a dry desert part of the state. I am a teaching assistant in a grade school and I work at a bank. I have 2 main hobbies reading and cooking. I live in a lush green valley. I live on the edge of the metro area but in the middle of fields of crops growing. I pick peaches, pears, apples, tomatoes, marionberries, raspberries, boysenberries, cucumbers, etc. I love to can and make my own salsa to give away as gifts to family and friends.

    My DH has been an active part of my Recipezaar experience, helping with photos and joining in on many projects.

    Our daughter, chef#911964 has also been a big help on Recipezaar. She has taken on many fancier projects that had an artistic flair. She also has taken some of our best photos.

    We very much enjoy the Recipezaar community.  We have enjoyed many wonderful hours being involved in PAC, ZWT, games with friends, special monthly forums.

    Favorite Foods

    I love trying out new recipes. My favorite things to cook are main dishes and desserts. Here is a few things I am famous for: panama canal dessert, cinnamon rolls, salsa, frosted sugar cookies, chicken enchiladas, shoyu chicken.

    One of my most favorite foods is shrimp. We have to go to Red Lobster during Endless Shrimp.
