    Reviewed Grilled Prosciutto Wrapped Scallops
    Handle
     |  (1 person found this helpful) |  By Lauren8148

"These were delicious! I followed the recipe exactly and it worked out perfectly. We both felt that the prosciutto could have been cut in half and wrapped, rather than folded, to allow for more flavour from the scallop, but it's possible that a single layer of prosciutto wouldn't stand up very well on the barbecue either. Might be worth experimenti..."

"This was very nice. I thoroughly enjoyed the chicken. I marinated it for about an hour and a half and grilled it on the barbecue. I would recommend oiling the grill first, as the chicken stuck quite a bit. Nothing a lifter couldn't fix. The rice salad was excellent! I followed the directions exactly, making sure I cooled the rice immediately after..."

"This was a nice winter soup. I especially enjoyed the chewy fragments of feta. I also added a bulb of garlic, rather than 3 cloves (we LOOOVE garlic! and I think next time I would roast them first. I was unable to locate arugula (poor herb selection at our grocery store, so had to leave it out, which makes me sad. I always try to stick to the re..."

"This was very nice. I'm not a margarita fan as a rule, but I thoroughly enjoyed this one. The lemon worked quite nicely, but something tells me lime juice would also be fantastic, Great recipe, SolightlyUK! Made for PAC Fall 2012."

Reviewed Bangar Bil Zabadi - Egyptian Beet Salad

"This was very easy to make, and quite tasty. I felt it was missing something, though, to sharpen up the flavour. Perhaps extra garlic, or maybe a tiny bit of red wine vinegar. The base is excellent, so it wouldn't take much to make this dish an excellent salad. Thanks Mia. Made for PAC Fall 2012."

"This was excellent. The flavour was perfect. I messed it up a bit by making ahead of time and keeping it warm for about 30 minutes while I made the meatballs. The potatoes got too mushy and the gravy wasn't very gravy-like. Totally my fault, though. The gravy was perfect initially. I will definitely be making this again. I served it with Recipe #3..."

"This was fantastic. It took quite a while to make, but the end result was well worth it. I especially liked the roasted corn and peppers. They really made the dish for me. I was a little confused regarding the dressing, as the instructions directed me to make 3/4 cup, but other instructions called for more. Flavour-wise, I think it probably could ..."

"This is really good tapenade! I took the lazy way and made the whole thing in the food processor. The end result was very nice, and it took no time at all! I added a few extra anchovies (what else was I going to do with them? and made it a little fishier tasting than I would like. Next time, I'll stick to the recipe. Thanks for posting! Made for ..."

"This was a very tasty, hearty soup. I haven't cooked with red lentils before, and I was pleasantly surprised. I made the recipe as written, but I ended up adding 1 litre of broth, as the soup was the consistency of paste with the 2 cups called for. Not sure what could account for the difference from sherrilljoy's version, but the problem was easil..."
