    My Journal

I have no recent activity to share.

    About Me

Software engineer by day, game designer, composer and cook by night. I have recently returned to my beloved Sonoran Desert from my exile in the Carolinas.

I like cooking for others. If it were just me, I would eat in bachelor mode (sandwiches and cold cereal) all the time.

    Favorite Foods

Anything spicy but not just hot. It's trivial to make something burn... but to give it the burn and a wonderful flavor? That's art, baby! I love Ethiopian (which got me to this site in the first place), Indian and Mexican food in particular.

I also will go out of my way for a great big hot bowl of Pho (Vietnamese soup). Yum.

I make a pretty mean seafood enchilada and lasagna. But I've eaten at the best steakhouses and none of them can touch my bone-in rib eye steak with its "kitchen sink" marinade.
