I'm from the central Arkansas. I learned cooking from my grandmother and my mom. I work at a local college as a Payroll Officer, but my passion is writing. I have two dogs and two cats and a bunny. I love collecting cookbooks and watching The Food Network. I love Paula Deen. My pet peeve? Would have to be Sandra Lee. =D I love the holidays. I begin looking forward to Halloween around July 4. By then I'm already planning Christmas.
I just love to cook. My mom requests meatloaf nearly every Sunday and buttered beans. Whatever I'm in the mood for, I make it. I love pasta and just about anything Italian or Southern. My grandmother use to make sauerkraut and hot dogs, mashed potatoes, and spaghetti. It may not sound good, but it sure tasted good. That's total comfort food to me.
