Hi!
I am a work at home Mom with a beautiful daughter, and I own and run a busy catering business.
I love to practice Reiki, it feels great to be able to help people! If you don't know what Reiki is, well, basically the short version is healing through hands and energy, and the moving of chi through the body.
I also love Yoga, and read just about anything.
I am passionate about organ donation education. My Father had a kidney transplant, and it saved his life, giving him more years to be with us.
He got to see my daughter grow into a young lady, something that never would have happened if a kind stranger had not signed their organ donation card.
My daughter adored her Poppa and we were blessed with more time with him.
Please sign your organ donation card, you could save a life, and affect thousands more!
I run our family business from home and have been married for 20 wonderful years to the most fantastic man. (No, I really mean that!!)
He does most of the cooking here....he's a great cook. (Told you he was fantastic!)
He plays guitar and always entertains everyone at get togethers and parties.
I am a co-host of the Canadian Cooking Forum here on Zaar, along with Tiggrr . Come over for a visit at Canadian Cooking Forum.
I'm also honoured to be a co-host of Zaar's newest Forum, The Critter Cafe, along with my good friends Pot Scrubber and K9 Owned .
You can also find me hanging out with my Australian Friends in their Forum
I was lucky enough to have a visit last summer from ~Rita~ and her hubby John, along with her friends Jay and Michelle. We had a barbeque with some other Zaarites and then they spent the night. ~Rita~ is the most terrific and kind person you will ever meet, and I love her dearly.
She's like my Sister! :)
Another person I want to mention is my very dear friend Pot Scrubber.

He makes me laugh and cry and sometimes both at the same time.
I love him and am blessed to count him as one of my best friends!
Plus, he is eye candy....;)
This past February I had the honour of going to Costa Rica to be a Bridesmaid at the wedding Chef #169969 to her new husband KC.
It was a beautiful time and a beautiful place!
My daughter Sarah was a gorgeous flower girl (along with Cheryl's son Ty as handsome Ring Bearer) and my Husband played the music for the ceremony.
I also had the privilege of meeting some people that I now can say are some of my best friends! Mommy Diva and her husband Rob, Vseward (Chef ~V) and her husband Ric, Mama's Kitchen and her husband Mike, my good buddy Obag, and of course dear sweet sassafrasnanc, who is an amazing woman!!
I adore these people :)
We've since vacationed with Mommy Diva, Vseward (Chef~V) and Obag and their familes in California, what a blast! We stayed at Chef V's place, then travelled to Bass Lake where we stayed in the most gorgeous cottage for a week, and also visted Yosemite with them. It's so cool to have met online friends that I love so much :)
I joined Zaar to become a better cook, and it sure has worked. My husband can't believe how great my cooking has become. He still does most of the cooking though!
My friends are like my family, and we get together often. We are truly lucky and blessed with the most amazing people in our lives.
My favourite foods are Asian and Indian, but I love just about anything and like to try new foods!
I have been a co-host of the Zaar World Tour from the beginning, and I love it! The new food I get to try, the fun and friends are terrific. My Husband is a willing participant and helps me cook all sorts of new dishes.
We have continued the ZWT every year since, and it's a ton of fun!
One of our favourite things to do with friends is have a theme dinner night, where we choose a type of food such as Greek, Asian, Moroccan etc. and we cook authentic dishes from that area. It's lots of fun and we all enjoy trying new dishes.
