    I believe food should be fun! The recipe should be an adventure....some harder than others. The tastes should have you coming back for more (preferably later and not immediately!) - tantalizing your taste buds with savory, sweet, spicy.... Most of all, a good recipe should satisfy you mentally/emotionally as well as physically. (I really dislike those that you want to eat more than you should to try and satisfy a craving). I do enjoy ho-hum recipes occasionally....they make you enjoy the others so-much-more! And, most of all....passing along a great recipe and getting good feedback lets you know that you are adding a positive touch of you to others' lives.

    Being a retired chef....I love all kinds of food. But family style is the best!
