"My mother-in-law made this for us often, really messed my kitchen up but worth it times 10. She did not use nutmeg but served it with a very tasty tomato based stew. Mmmm. Sometimes, if she was feeling ambitious she would wrap it around purple plums and fry them in butter served with cinnamon and sugar. Delightful, there were never enough, lol. Sh..."

"This loaf is delicious, well, of course, it was my meat sauce, lol, but the flavours blend beautifully. I don't think we let it cool long enough, maybe 20 min. would be better than 10 cause ours ran out of the loaf when we sliced it. Very good though. Thanks H. Cato for a great dinner. Easy too. I served it with a broccoli cheddar pasta salad...."

"I made this from bisquick's newsletter, which I also get, it is wonderful. One word of caution, I didn't have the right sized pan so put it in a round one, well....... big mistake, it bubbled over and I lost a lot of the sauce, but..... it was still tasty and my family wants me to make it again. I pretend it is hard...... lol. Very good and ..."

"This was really good and not hard at all. I had some 33% cream in the fridge so used it instead of milk cause I didn't want it to go bad. Cre-e-e-eamy!!!!! I used the no watching no sweating pasta method from this site. My family could not believe that tomato soup was the base."

"These were fine, but not much different from cooked carrots. Everyone ate them. Perhaps the ho hum attitude was due to the fact that I also served garlic chicken so that any flavour in the carrots was lost."

"These were very different which is a plus. We liked them but like the vinegar sugar stand-by better. Using the ziploc bag is brilliant, you can manipulate the cukes to make sure they are all covered and can see them the whole time. Thank you for the new tip OzMartha."

"Oh, my! Easy and absolutely delicious, I asked my friend to grill them on the BBQ after I had them marinate all day, everyone loved it and there were no leftovers, even though I had done extra. Thank you, Troy!!!!! These will be made often at my house."
