    About Me

    Hi,
My name is Linda Timm and I live in Matamoras, PA.
I love to cook and bake, especially breads, sticky buns, muffins, cookies, and when my grandmother was alive, I followed her around the kitchen many times watching her make things. Getting a recipe from her was very difficult as she never measured anything, but it all was so delicious!!!!!!
There was never a time that I didn't walk into her house and smell homemade bread, or pies. SHe came from Switzerland.

    Favorite Foods

I guess my favorte food to cook is Lasagne, Ziti, and chicken.

I guess you could say I was famous for making shankerlies___it is a Swiss recipe that I got from my grandmother, made only at Christmas time, I'm the only one in the family that followed her around when she was alive and fiqured out a recipe for them since my grandmother never measured anything, and it took 3 years of her being my best critic before getting the recipe right. I've been making them for 24 years now.
