    About Me

    Complete food to eat it and enjoy cooking if I have uninterrupted time.
    I am a mother of 2 children, one in Elementary School and one in Middle School. The kids have vastly different palates so I am always looking for recipes that appeal to both. (one is spicy -one is not, one is lactose sensitive-one is not one is a sugar junkie and one loves all things salty)
    I enjoy painting and reading in my down time.
    If I had to say what I am famous for cooking it would be a toss up between my Asian Lettuce Wraps and my Smothered Pork Chops.
    There is no way I could choose a fave restaurant but Liquid Sushi in San Mateo ranks up there and you really never have a bad meal at The Fish Market (a small chain on the Peninsula).

    Favorite Foods

    I love sushi and sashimi (it's the Polynesian in me...)
    I love a good barbecued bone-in rib eye steak medium rare.
    Eggplant Parmesian and Gnocchi are delish!
    Omlettes are a fave.
    Hummus is fantastic so is Baba Ganoush.
    Lumpia is addictive.
    Homemade tamales are the greatest comfort food!
    Steamed artichokes and roasted asparagus are favorite veggies.
