Added Recipe Photo to Rice a Roni from Scratch in the Microwave
Reviewed Rice a Roni from Scratch in the Microwave
"This was a very simple recipe to follow with ingredients I had in the pantry. I like that I can control the sodium. The timing was exactly right. As was mentioned, I left the rice in the microwave while I finished the rest of dinner and fluffed it just before serving. It stayed hot and was ready when I was. Thanks for a go to side dish."

New Topic Wierd gelatinous goo from Ground Beef or Turkey in Cooking Q & A
"When I broil or pan fry hamburgers either made from ground beef or ground turkey (usually 93% lean), a goo forms on top or around the edges of the meat while it cooks. What is that? Is it fat? I usually scrape it off, but would love to know if I can avoid causing it to begin with.
Thanks for your help.
Lisa"
