    Reviewed Penne with Turkey Meatballs
     |  By LitaLou

"As far as I'm concerned, Giada can do more with less than anyone else. These meatballs were so incredibly flavorful and moist. I used 85/15 ground turkey (dark meat, as suggested and the full amount of fresh parsley and black pepper. In other words, I didn't change anything at all in the recipe, and am not sure why some people ended up ..."

"I added more zucchini and more green beans. Also increased the salt, pepper, thyme & basil and added about 1/2 t. cayenne. Finally, I used only a scant 2 c. water rather than 3 cups. It still made a generous 8 servings at 1 1/2 c. per serving. Fabulous soup, and so very close to Olive Garden's. It made me very happy!"

"I first found this recipe in Giada's book Everyday Italian and had to come on here and add my 5 star review. I've lost count of how many times I've made this sandwich recently. We have tons of out-of-this-world delicious tomatoes in our garden, and this sandwich is definitely worthy of them. I don't drag out my George Foreman, j ..."

"This was so delicious - even better than I expected it to be. The spinach added so much flavor. It's a must. I didn't use any Parmesan, just an Italian blend and not quite 3 cups of that, and that was plenty of cheese. This is a perfect weeknight recipe."

"I made this on Fri. after Thanksgiving and it was just so-so. I'm glad I waited until Sun. to review it. It's delicious after the flavors have melled for 2 days, and with the addition of salt & more pepper. Here's a head's up on the dumplings. If you make good old fashioned Southern dressing - i.e. very moist - you don't ne ..."

    Reviewed Cobble Topped Blackberries
     |  By LitaLou

"I had big, fat beautiful sweet blackberries & this recipe came just in time, becuase I didn't want a full blown cobbler. This was perfect, and the juice is heavenly! I used regular flour and self-rising cornmeal rather than vice versa, since that's what I always have on hand. I'm not sure what debbie from Paducah was talking about, though, whe ..."
