I am a speech-language pathologist in Chicago. I have a passion for cooking and love trying new recipes. Cooking all day on a Sunday while listening to music is pure heaven for me. I recently decided to try eating a vegetarian diet and am happy to report that is suits me. I'm into health food, juicing, alternative medicine, yoga, music, books, movies and my husband, who loves to do this all with me and thinks I am the best cook in the world.
When I'm not cooking, I'm reading, listening to music, hanging out with friends, and relaxing in general.
My favorite foods to cook are Middle Eastern/Mediterranean, which I like to think do well as I grew up eating these foods because my father is from Beirut. I also learned from the best since I come from a long line of excellent cooks on that both sides of the family, the other half being Russian and Ukrainian. I also love French cuisine which I learned to cook while I was living there for 4 months. Whatever the cuisine, though, I believe that the best foods are simply prepared and have the freshest ingredients.
