Reviewed Yes, Virginia There is a Great Meatloaf
    Handle
     |  By Nita Holleman

"I know, giving this only three stars will make everyone think I'm a terrible person. It looked completely unappetizing to me and my husband said at least 5 times during dinner: "I like yours better." The flavors were good, but the major difference with mine is that I don't cook it in a loaf pan, I shape it and bake it on a cookie sheet (yes, it ..."

"These are ridiculously good. I have never made refried beans before, but I will NEVER buy them pre-made again. They were easy, the preparation was quick and the house smells really good for the hour and a half they are cooking. Made as directed (including garlic, once with a lager and once with an IPA and both were delicious. Thank you!"

"So sorry...I've been making this for a year and never rated it. It's absolutely delicious, I don't change a thing, except using red pepper flakes if I don't have fresh peppers on hand. This is one of my favorite summer meals!"

"Love the short ingredient list, these are so simple. I used the peanut butter that is made only of peanuts, and lowered the sugar to 3/4 cup. I thought they might not be sweet enough, but they were delicious. Even our sugar-loving, peanut-butter-cookie-hating, 8 year old niece loved them! Another bonus of the simplicity is that kids can help t..."

"These were excellent. I was also looking for ones like Ruby Tuesdays. These will become a regular in our house. Made as directed the first time, and then tried them with lentils since I had some leftover. They were very good that way as well, they even held together a little better with the lentils. Topped with BBQ sauce as well. Thank you!"

"Very good recipe. Made as directed. I didn't think there was enough of the spices to cover 4 breasts, so I spread it over two and that seemed to be a good amount for us. It was a good blend of spices and smelled delicious while cooking! We like salt, but still felt there was a little much and will use less next time. But it's great for a quic..."

"Very tasty. This was the first time I made fiddleheads, so I made them as directed. Next time, I won't steam quite as long, and will saute for a little longer so the flavors blend more. But the flavors were excellent, thank you!"

     |  By carmenskitchen

"This was delicious! I love sweet potatoes too, but never with extra sugar. The lemon balances the sweetness perfectly. We had these for lunch by themselves today, but because the flavors are balanced, it would be a great side for any meal. I don't have lemon pepper, so I just squeezed lemon juice right on the potato before adding the cheese an..."

     |  By Sue Lau

"My garlic press broke in half on the second clove, so I am happy to report that mincing the other 22 cloves by hand was worth it! Although I forgot to add the brown sugar...it probably would have been even better. I expected it to be more garlicky. It was so mild that my husband didn't even know it was a garlic roast. The beer was a very nice ..."

"Very fresh, healthy recipe, perfect for summer picnics or potlucks. Made more dressing than was called for. Next time will add a tad more vinegar and maybe some parmesan to round it out a little more. Will definitely make again, thanks so much!"
