"The flavor of this marinade is very good!. Unfortunately, I only had 4 hours to marinade my london broil, which turned out okay but I imagine would be way better the longer it sits. The meat had been in the freezer and think the flavor would be better on a fresh cut. Thanks for sharing!"

"I'd never had, nor had I ever made a Sheperd's Pie before, and this was very good! I got nothing but compliments at our annual St. Patty's Day shindig. I doubled the recipe for the most part, only used about a cup and a half of wine, but 3 cups of beef stock. I used Merlot, because it's what I had and that added a distinct f..."

"So happy you posted this recipe! Years ago my husband and I used to go to the one in Studio City, and this recipe totally brings back the memories and the flavors! I did use less butter (1/2 cup unsalted, not sure if it matters, added a tsp of crushed red pepper flakes, used half fresh and half dried rosemary and kept it covered while simmering..."

"This was easy and a nice change. Served with grilled Lobster tails and Snow Crab legs for Valentines Day, and it paired well. Although my son didn't seem to like it as much as I thought he would, but I will make it again."

"Delicious! I used unsalted butter (it's what I had and won't do that again. Even adding a bit of salt doesn't give the butter the same rich flavor. The meat was yummy and the tails looked so pretty with a bit of BBQ char. So good and so easy!!"

"I don't have a steamer basket so I decided to give this method a try. Simple and yummy. I will totally use this method again. I used Old Bay but really didn't care for it and will probably leave it out next time."

"This was tasty but for some reason it wasn't a big hit on Christmas Day. Could be that we did a buffet and it got missed. I used fresh mushrooms and diced red pepper in place of the pimento. Nice change from green bean casserole and loved that I could just throw it in the crock-pot and save space in the oven."

"This was very easy and creamy when it was first ready. Took to a potluck and unfortunately the rest of the meal was a good hour behind so it got a little thick. I subbed evaporated milk and used mild cheddar (it's what I had. Next time I will either use the sharp cheddar or add a little spice it was a bit bland."
