    About Me

    I live in the middle of Wyoming and work hard for the money. I love to cook & bake, to play in the dirt, to be in natural surroundings, to be surrounded by green and living things, even though my thumb is not exactly green and my kitchen is never clean. Since stumbling across this site while researching Thai wedding customs for the nuptuals of a family friend, I have rekindled my joy of cooking. Thanks to all who have inspired me and to all for the happy times it has given!!! I seem to be collecting cookbooks, food magazines and recipes from every where; but have no one favorite. If I didn't work so much, I would love to have the time and energy to cook and bake to my hearts' content. Sooner or later, I will get around to posting a few more recipes, but for the time being, I am enjoying surfing around here looking at everyone elses' and trying lots of them. When time allows, that is.

    Favorite Foods

    I'll try most any food at least once, unfortunately for my waist, there are very few I dislike. I do have a problem with milk, but that doesn't stop me from using it. And I absolutely love mangoes, but cannot eat them.
    A few of my favorite foods to prepare:
    cake, esp. an out of the ordinary one; Chinese, although Thai is gaining ground; fresh salsa from my garden; anything in a wok or on the outdoor grill.
    What am I famous for in the kitchen? Anything that I have an urge to cook and share, often in someone elses' kitchen! My parents, my siblings and their spouses don't seem to mind too much if I make a mess in their kitchens, as long as they reap the rewards and get some leftovers! My coworkers claim I should open a small cafe and feed them more often.
