"We have always called this recipe the "Big Boy" Strawberry Pie, like they serve in the Big Boy Restaurants! I have been making this pie for years! Always get compliments on the taste and it looks so pretty. Make sure you let your jello/cornstarch mixture cool before you add to pie. You don't want too "cook" your straw..."
"Very good and so simple to make. I also added some sweet onion while cooking the peppers. Added more water with fajita mix to coat the chicken and severed over creamy rice. Could easily add some black beans or corn. Topped with salsa and a bit of sour cream. Did not use in tortilla wrap and was perfect. Thanks for posting."
"Loved the ease of making these Beer Margarita's. The taste was great and followed recipe exactly. Not too sweet, nor too sour. I usually make my margarita's with Triple Sec, but these are better. No beer taste at all, just a bit of fizz. Thank you for a wonderful recipe. I will use it again and again!!!"
"Nice mix of flavors and so simple to make. I added a can of chopped green chili's and some fresh corn "off" the cob to the burger mix. Also, I used cheddar cheese soup in place of cream of mushroom. It is a very creamy burrito casserole, loved the recipe. The leftovers are even better than original serving. I topped with diced tomatoes/lettuc..."
"Thank you GinnyP!! Your recipe is easy, wonderfully flavored yet quick to prepare. Since I did not have a can of Italian plum tomatoes, I used 1/2 qt jar of stewed tomatoes but added some oregeno and basil. Everything else was the same. Next time, I will use 1/2 /1/2 - instead of heavy cream because I always have it on hand. I will make again ..."
"Really liked this recipe. Quick and easy to make. I steamed my cut aspargus using more water in my steamer. Once aspargus tender, the water was boiling to add spagetti. All the while i was simmering the sauce. I did not use lemon juice, just more zest and added more parmesan cheese. I topped with shrimp scampi before serving. Just wonderful..."
"Thank you for sharing, my family loved it! Once the meat was cooked, it shredded very easy. I skimmed fat off the juice for dipping but heated up my broiler.Opened up my soft hoagie rolls, piled them high w/beef and topped with provolone cheese. Broiled just few minutes to toast bread and melt cheese. It was wonderful! What a great recipe."
"I have made these twice now. Once in oven, once in crockpot. Great flavor and so simple. Like the others, instead of extra sugar I added 2-3 T vinegar to cut the honey sweetness. They were a hit. Thank you for posting."
"Good Golly Miss Annie, what a great recipe!! I don't know why I haven't made them sooner!! I did add more garlic, cumin and a pinch of taco seasoning. Brushed with melted butter and baked on oven stone. Sure enough, crispy on the outside and not 'doughy' tasting at all. Made a small bit of a butter/flour roux, adding some pepper jack cheese...."
"I have been making this for months. Seems I can't get enough--so addicting. Will never buy bottled again. For the salad, I keep it simple using chopped romaine lettuce, bacon bits (turkey bits, actually) and sliced cherry tomatoes. Love, love, love it. My husband brought home a head of romaine lettuce -- with a smile I knew he was asking for ..."
