"I made a mistake and poured a 32 oz. carton of vegetable broth in the pot instead of the 12 oz. of liquid (water plus bouillon. I didn't realize my mistake until I had blended the vegetables and black beans. I googled "how to thicken soup" and added a couple large tablespoons of mashed potatoes, and it worked. However, there was still too much..."

"This was delicious! I added another handful of mushrooms and subbed 1 1/4 tsp. of roasted vegetable soup base with 1 1/4 c of water for the chicken broth to keep it vegetarian. My husband put some on his steak and I enjoyed it over a veggie burger. Thanks for a yummy recipe."

"This sauce was very acidic, so I added brown sugar, one tablespoon at a time to cut the acidity. I also reduced the jalepeno to one tablespoon. It had a bite the first day, but when I heated it up the second day for lunch, it was so spicy hot that I couldn't eat it. I wouldn't make this again. Sorry!"

"I had bought a 5 lb. bag of Granny Smith apples a week ago and made this recipe and another apple pie. This was sinfully good. I made it as stated (peeled apples, but I used good old Pillsbury refrigerated crust. I've just bought another 5 lb. bag and will make this one again as well as another highly rated apple pie in search of the perfect two-..."

"This barbecue chicken was so easy to cook, I felt embarrassed to take credit for cooking it. I served it with pickles, baked beans, the best one-bowl hash brown potato casserole #78853, cole slaw and potato chips. Thanks so much!!"

"I loved these pancakes before I even tasted them. Instead of measuring out 6 T., I also used 1/3 c. of canned pumpkin and approximately 1/4 to 1/3 c. of additional skim milk. The spicy pumpkin aroma from these pancakes was mouth watering! I had to eat a pancake as I was cooking the rest of the batter. It was that good. Yummalicious!!"
