I currently work from home. My wife is a great mom, but not the best cook. Luckily, i blessedly inherited my mom's cooking genes so i do most of the cooking at home. I'm chinese so our first choice is always northern chinese with lots of ginger and scallions and more simple in flavor. Examples of this cousine are dumplings and meat buns. Second is southern chinese where they are readily available around So Cal in Sam Woo's. I am blessed with the ability to mimic tastes much like musicians who play by ear, so with the exception of mediterrnean foods, i can pretty much cook anything i've tasted.
