"In India, we make a very similar dish (rice and lentils are a must, no pasta and the rest is very similar and guess what it is called - "Khichri". Now I know why the name is so similar. It is one of the best comfort foods (and filling that I know from my childhood days."

"I was tired of cream of... stuff. This was a welcome change. I did not have leeks and used a mix of portabella and white. Took out 1/2 c of water and put in 1/2 c of white wine. At the end, put in two tsp of cornstarch. My family lapped it up and we have 3 kids in them. Great stuff."

"Wow! My family was thrilled with this recipe. I initially stir-fried a lot of vegetables in olive oil and so did not add any olive-oil to the sauce. Instead of putting everything in a blender, I simply put everything in the wok where I had just stir-fried the vegetables and threw in some diced firm tofu.
