"I was looking for a recipe to use up some frozen blueberries and fresh lemons while we were prepping to evacuate for Gustav. This recipe is awesome! It's exactly what I was looking for. I cut one of the loaves in half to give to relatives who are also evacuating as a kind of good luck gift. The other loaf is coming with me. :-"

"Awesome! I halfed the recipe and used a cookie scoop I picked up at Walmart and ended up with 60 cookies. The cookie scoop is the best invention for cookie bakers ever. It's like a small ice cream scoop that makes every cookie the same size."

"This cake was very tasty and very rich. The only thing I think could make it even better ,and less healthy :, is to pour some simple syrup into the baked cake rounds to increase the moistness and richness of the cake portion. I made only half the frosting and still had a bit left over (which I ate with fresh strawberries - AWESOME. The frosting..."

"This bread pudding was very good. I too omitted the coconut. I was looking for a recipe that used raisins and pecans and spices. The recipe fit what I was looking for except for the coconut. I used several different bread left overs include some Nature's Way Double Fiber Wheat. Those pieces needed a bit longer to soak and was a bit tougher once co..."

"Awesome! I was looking for a recipe to use up some Ghiradelli white chocolate I bought at my local 'big box' store. This recipe is great and delicious. It even got rave reviews from my in-laws who are born and raised New Orleans and certainly know their bread puddings. Next time I will cut the bread into cubes and allow it to soak about 20 minut..."
