"Kittencal has the best recipes. I made this for a family potluck and doubled the recipe. I made it as written. It was a big hit. I think the next time I make it, however, I will decrease the almonds. We ended up with most of the almonds in the bottom of the bowl."

"My hubby and I really loved this soup. I put in a ton of spinach that I needed to use up, and used turkey meatballs instead of sausage. I also put in mushrooms. My husband said it was the best soup that I had ever made."

"Delicious! What an amazing stew! So simple, so easy. My hubby and son had two helping each tonight. I made it mostly as written, substituting home-made turkey stock for the water and I used boneless leg of lamb as the meat. I started too late in the day yesterday to have it for dinner last night, so I baked without doing the final broiling ste..."

"Delicious! I made this salad to take to a friend's house for a party. Like other reviewers, I made a whole cup of quinoa so the salad would be more grain-y than black bean-y. I didn't rinse or toast the quinoa--seemed like too much work. I did use half of a de-seeded and de-membraned jalapeno pepper. I also used a can of drained diced tomatoes,..."

"These are delicious cookies, with or without icing. I made the cookies mostly as directed, but did sub a teaspoon of nutmeg for one of the teaspoons of cinnamon. I also struggled with the icing a bit. Mine turned out dark brown, and I ended up adding another half cup of milk to get it spreadable. It still tastes great."

"Amazingly delicious! We have a new indoor electric fryer and we've been trying out various items in it. These shrimp have been one of the best things we've done so far. We used panko breadcrumbs, but made the batter as directed."

"In an effort to avoid taking up precious "oven time" from the roasting turkey, I tried out my traditional oyster stuffing using the slow cooker technique for this recipe. After the first hour on high, then an additional two on low, with the intermediate stirring, I decided that my stuffing was still too wet (I hadn't adjusted the liquids. I deci..."

"Can't believe I didn't rate this recipe last year! We made our Christmas Day turkey this way and it was so delicious and moist. The oranges gave it such a delicate flavor. And, it freed up our one oven to be used for other dishes. We'll make it again this year for sure."

"An easy, serviceable meal when time is short. I really appreciated the ease in which it all went together and that it took less than an hour from start to finish. I used rotini noodles, but think I will try elbows the next time, as the rotinis got a bit over-done."

"Very tasty. After I cooked the potatoes, I used a potato masher to smoosh them up, to disguise them, since my daughter thinks that the only kind of potatoes she likes are french fries. I also drained the corn before I added it. I used half-n-half and evaporated milk, but didn't add any regular milk, since I thought it was soupy enough. Everybody..."
