"This was awesome! I couldn't find barley malt, so I substituted raw sugar. I am a weeny when it comes to spicy stuff, too, so I let my husband add some tobasco to his bowl. "This soup is amazing! I've recetnly turned vegetarian and I've been searching for recipes that fill me up... this one is a definate winner! I add a dolop of sour cream with the cheddar cheese and green onions on top of each bowl just before serving! Ahhh! Perfect : Thanks so much for sharring :"

"This was amazingly easy, and very flavorful. I used Maple bacon, but it was just fine. The juices in the bottom of the pan were too good to let go to waist. I had to put it to use!"
