    Baked these cute mini cakes for my grandson, when he visits Thanksgiving weekend. My husband said they were delicious and he does not like pumpkin anything. The cakes are soft and flavorful, the texture makes for a good cake.
    I'll be happy to serve these to my family and friends though out the holiday season. Oh, I added a pinch of salt...

    The Cookies are different from American sweet cookies, (they are not sugar cookies). The cookies dough would become too heavy from the sugar, in order to form the beautiful red flower. I used a little powered sugar and almond or vanilla pure extract for flavor. I make these Cookies for the holidays, ever since I show Gale Gand on Food Network. "
