I live in Millstone, Kentucky, in the beautiful Appalachian Mountains. I have been a born again follower of Christ since 1981 and I love to sing for God.
I have two lovely daughters. I am a 53 y/o Grandmother of 3 wonderful children. My hobbies are that I love to bake and cook, sew, paint, embroidery on machine, do woodworking and just every craft whatsoever!!
My favorite dish to cook would probably be my recipe handed down from my Grandmother. She had a talent for making home made egg noodles and I've tried to keep that talent alive in our family since her passing. These noodles are made at Thanskgiving and Christmas dinners. I also love to bake breads and rolls.
My favorite foods are of course, sweets. I love anything with lots of carbs! My favorite meats are chicken and venison. My husband and I are trying to be "health concious" and using more whole grains and lean meats, veggies, etc. I truly love the organic items offered these days. I just wish there were more grocers here that offered them.
My fav restaurant here in Letcher County has to be the Pine Mountain Grill because of the atmosphere and home cooked food. It is a lovely place made like a log cabin and they have a fireplace in the dining room and a gift shop with beautiful quilts displayed.
Well, that's all for now. Y'all have a blessed day!
