"I have not made the recipe yet but I am saving it for later. I think that the reason some may have found it lacking in flavor is because it only has turmeric and cloves in it. When I make it I will also add some cumin and coriander powders. These are common spices in most curry dishes and it will make a big difference. I do like the idea of aloo c..."

"I had some leftover rice from the night before so I used that. I cooked the onion for a bit and then added the drained and rinsed black beans. I added the cumin and garlic powerder right after because the spices taste better if you let them cook. I had to add a cup of water so that the spices could cook all the way. When the water had simmered awa..."

"It is a good recipe. I did not like the vinager at all. I have made it a few times without vinager and it turned out great. I cheat and use a rice cooker so I do not need the first part of the recipe."

"I cut this recipe in half. I changed a few things also. I'm not a fan of cloves so I skipped those and when I mixed it all up it seemed a bit dry so I added an extra half a cup of applesauce. I think I put in a total of 3/4 a cup of walnuts though. I just put in two small handfuls till it looked good. This was pretty good. I think I'll make it aga..."

"This was pretty good. It probably would have been better if I had read the directions ahead of time though because I put everything but the flour and water mixture in all together at once in the beginning. I also got distracted giving my little one some cereal so I let it boil for too long so half the liquid was gone. I didn't need to add the flou..."

"I really like this recipe! I only gave four stars though because it's not complete the way it is IMO. I saw that some pp had said that it was a bit bland so I altered the recipe a bit by adding some seasoning salt, some Mrs Dash and a little bit of ginger with a pinch of red chilli flakes. It was really great once I added all of those things. I us..."

"This is great! It was even faster for me because I cheated and used some precooked shrimp so I just thawed the shrimp and tossed it into the melted butter, cooked for a minute just to warm the shrimp and the added the rest of the ingrediants. I'm going to eat it over some egg noodles because those cook up so fast also. This really is great."

The only thing I do different is instead of a casserole type pan I use one of the baking sheets that has a bit of a lip. Sorry don't know the proper terms. It works out really well though because everything is nice and flat s..."

"This was great! I baked the chicken with some cumin, garlic powder and seasoning salt for about an hour then just chopped it up. I followed pp's idea of microwaving the mushroom mix then I just mixed everything in a bowl before putting it into the tortillas. I also did the final step in the skillet. I will make this again and again!"
