I am a British woman living in Bangkok, travelling throughout Asia for my job with a humanitarian organisation. For a living I work with poor people in Asia who can't afford the most basic food. For a hobby I endulge myself with the tastiest food which Asia has to offer and encourage others to do the same. It's an odd contradiction but one that makes me gratefull every day and doubly committed to showing food the love it deserves! Explaining my experiences to friends isn't easy. But where words fall down, food can tell a thousand tales. What better way to share my travels than by recreating the tastes and smells - and in such a way that people can do it too in their own homes? When I'm not zipping around Asia I am living it up in Bangkok, where I live with the fella who just became my husband. There are many amazing things about living in this city but the best is being in a culture where it is considered perfectly acceptable - normal even to be completely obsessed with food!
