"Lali, Thank you for posting this recipe. I added more cocoa powder (2 tbsp, 1/4 cup more flour, 1 tsp baking powder, 1tbsp canola oil, and used butter instead of shortening (ok, so I'm another one of those "recipe-meddlers"... but it is a very fine cake recipe and turned out fluffy and moist for me. I was a deviant with the icing too, I'm in Geo..."

"One lil' suggestion, Try brown sugar instead of granulated sugar with the sweet potatoes. We enjoy ours this way and would never go back to granulated sugar. *smiles*"

"Great recipe. I've made this for years! One suggestion, try using cumin powder in place of your chili powder for a different mexican twist. If you like cumin, you'll enjoy the change! "

"I'm giving these a 5 for concept and ease. I have some suggestions for people trying this recipe though... We found these mini-loaves a lil' too salty. I reccommend using lite or low-sodium soya sauce in the meatloaves. I used milk instead of evaporated milk and it comes out fine. Beef substitutes well for the ground turkey/chicken. "More praise for this recipe! I used it on a slow drain, viola, running free and clear now. I could just hug and kiss you for this! Saved me some money and the suffering with it too! "

"We've made a recipe similar to this for years in our home. It's to die for! One difference though, we just use 2lbs of velveeta cheese instead of the cheez whiz and other cheeses. I might try your version to see how they compare. Velveeta makes a nice creamy sauce. We call our version 'Chicken Ro-tel', because of the canned Ro-tel (tomatoes and gr..."

"We use this in our house as a dip for fresh apple slices. I add 1 tsp of vanilla extract to the Dulce de Leche after it is done cooling and removed from the can. This is particularliy yummy on Granny Smith apples, which tend to be a bit tart. Very easy to make, I've never had a can blow up on me because I keep the water level above the can. Sooo ..."

"My mum used to make this, it's called Beet Leaf Dough Holubtsi (Holubtski being 'Roll'. It's in a Ukranian cookbook my mum passed down to me. It is very yummy. I've also made Beet Leaf Roll-ups (or Holubtsi with a rice, dill and, onion filling. Very tasty. "

"This is a pretty yummy recipe, but the first time I made it, it caved in and was a gooey mess... So the second time around, i didn't pack the brown sugar in the brownies, and it resulted in a much nicer brownie. Also, I think there is a mis-print for the sauce, it lists the maple syrup and butter under the brownies ingredients. The sauce is good, ..."
